The History of PRK
From 1957-1984 Clayton Pierquet worked as a carpenter and a contractor in the Green Bay area building and remodeling homes.
In 1970 Clayton’s son, Mike, began working with him full-time. When Clayton retired Mike established PRK Construction in 1984. Mike focused on building strong relationships with his customers and always made himself available to them. His work consisted of new home construction, remodeling and high-end
window replacements.
In 1993, 16-year-old Chris Voskuil asked the contractor (Mike) down the street for a summer job. After five summers with PRK, Chris’s love of carpentry and construction grew and he accepted a full-time position after completing college in 1998. This started a 19-year relationship between Mike and Chris that continues to this day even upon Mike and Mary’s retirement in January of 2017.
PRK has been blessed with wonderful customers, employees, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Through the years one thing has remained constant. The passion for carpentry and the building trades. We have all spent many hours on the job and carry that experience into all aspects of a project.
